The Bank of Khyber is seeking applications from highly skilled and experienced
candidates for the captioned position of Recovery & Litigation officer at Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Close coordination, handling, monitoring and follow up of legal cases with lawyers/branches
- Visits to banking courts and civil courts in connection with the bank cases.
- Processing /negotiations of layer’s professional fees/legal expenses for approval of Competent Authority
- Correspondence with Branches & dealing counsel
- Submission of court progress on litigation cases to Law Division, HO visit to branches on follow-up of litigation cases.
- Review/vetting of pleadings & other legal documents
- Negotiate with customers for out of courts settlement in litigation cases.
- Any other special assignment/responsibility entrusted by the management.
- Monitoring & follow-up of delinquent accounts for recovery
- To carry out visits to the customers / branches for recovery and to discuss remedial measures against chronic defaulters
- To recommend timely action to HO against defaulting customers.
- To conduct monthly performance review meeting with branches for effective remedial measures to enhance recovery.
- Should have strong communication skills, computer literate and well versed in Microsoft office.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
- Minimum qualification shall be LLB from a university recognized by HEC,
- Enrolled as an advocate high court, preferably.
- Must have maximum 05 years of relevant experience in Recovery/Litigation in a bank.
- Upper age limit 35 years (Relaxable in special cases)
TERM OF SERVICES:
- Market based salary commensurate with experience and qualification will be offered to the right person, Management reserves the right to select or reject any application
